As a software architect/entrepreneur, I’ve held senior leadership positions at a number of early and mid-stage technical startups in the Boston area spanning streaming music, mobile image recognition, financial services, cloud hosting, and cosmetics (yes, cosmetics) and recently the customer experience (CX) analytics space where I was charged re-shaping an in-house application prototype into a robust SaaS service. My current position in the healthcare space with HMS Inc. (acquired by Cotiviti Inc) has me working in Population Health Management as an Enterprise Architect overseeing the API ecosystem and overall product security.
The early years: I grew up in Schenectady, NY, a stone's throw from Union College and now reside in Needham, MA with my wife Judy, daughter Monika, my son Jason, and assorted wildlife (cats, dog, lizard(s), turtle, rabbit, hedgehog, fish…). I attended Cornell University as an Electrical Engineer/MBA and began my career at Bell Laboratories.
When I'm not working, I enjoy photography (I'm a Canon man with a touch of Fujifilm), cycling, and youth sports.
