What am I? I am an entrepreneur. I am a technologist. I am an innovator. I am a servant leader, I am a maker.

I am passionate about taking a vision, forming a plan, and executing with a team of like-minded, capable partners. Thoughtful analysis, pragmatic planning, and focused but flexible execution are my go-tos.

My goal is to create value through innovation  - managing change through the creation of software systems/solutions that build or strengthen a business - where there is a drive to do more, to do better, or to do different. 

I’ve been characterized as a "player-coach". I enjoy shaping product, working with customers, and building a business.  And... I like to get my hands dirty. While I grow, manage and guide technology teams, I also build and manage software at a detailed level when it makes sense. ( I can still code. )

Outside of work ... I am a son, I am a brother, I am a friend, I am a husband, and I am a father. These are things that I strive to be good at. I grew up in Schenectady, NY, a stone's throw from Union College and now reside in Needham, MA with my wife Judy. My, daughter Monika has grown up and is working at Pixar in SF. My son Jason, also grown up, is in Manhattan at Merit Systems.

When I step away from the desk, I enjoy photography (I'm a Canon man with a touch of Fujifilm), and I’m fascinated by drones.
